In the last decade Para Hills Community Club have won the prestigious Clubs SA Club of the Year Award (Large Metro) seven times.
With a strong focus on providing a broad range of entertainment and quality facilities, the north Adelaide venue has reopened strongly after the Covid disruption earlier in the year.
Para Hills Community Club General Manager, Cameron Taylor, has been a driving force behind his venues focus on providing quality entertainment options to patrons. As well as their three weekly APL poker events, Para Hills also host a regular QuizzaMe Trivia Event, which is now running at capacity every Thursday.
After trialing various entertainment options, the club got on board with QuizzaMe in 2015. Taylor and his team were taken by “the ease of its operation to the end user,” he said. “There was no limit to numbers per team, no lengthy rules. You simply sign up, grab your buzzer and away you go. Our players love that aspect of QuizzaMe.”
“Quizzame also gave us an opportunity to offer something different, so lots of new faces came to our Club as a result.”
Since returning from Covid lockdowns Cameron believes QuizzaMe has been crucial in his venues ability to reopen efficiently. “It’s been very important. Since we reopened on June 18 Thursday night (Quizzame Night) is our busiest day of the week.”
“Our players generally buy a meal and a drink prior to the event,” Cameron said, “and we have taken the initiative to book tables, so they don’t miss out.”
Asked how important this type of entertainment is to the ongoing success of his Club, Taylor said, “QuizzaMe is a foundation as to why people socialise in Licensed Venues, particularly Clubs. People like to be engaged whist in those venues and QuizzaMe delivers a product that can get the family around the table for a good night out.”
